Purpose
This article is to help Heartland merchants connect a merchant processing account to WooCommerce store using the OpenPath plugin.
OpenPath is the Payment Orchestration platform, which will provide fraud filtering, centralized reporting and robust connectivity.
Account Provisioning and Connection
The process is three simple steps:
- Obtain your Heartland Processing account details
- Obtain your OpenPath account details
- Connect your Heartland, WooCommerce and OpenPath accounts
Our onboarding staff are ready to help you through these steps and can be contacted as follows
(1). Heartland Account Details
Locate your Heartland Secret Key (Example Key: skapi_prod_A1ot0FnuMber5aNdLett3Rs).
If you don't have this information, you can coordinate with your Heartland Rep to obtain these details or contact OpenPath support to help coordinate.
(2) OpenPath Account Details
You will need an OpenPath Site Username and Password, to configure your WooCommerce plug-in.
If you do not yet have an OpenPath account our on-boarding specialist can create one for you in just a few minutes and supply the details. Contact us at the following locations with your business name, and request a new account for Heartland WooCommerce.
